Caring for Your Slabs: Slabs should be kept in controlled environmental conditions depending on the finish. They should be protected from direct sunlight to avoid sun-fading or bleaching.
Wood has a natural aging process and the unfinished surface may undergo natural color changes. Wood products should be stored where there is good airflow to all sides of the piece/s. If a product is placed on an uneven surface for an extended period of time, the product may bow, cup, twist or crack.
