Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Milano Wood Products, LLC.   The milanowoodproducts.com website and our milling/manufacturing facility are collective property of Milano Wood Products, LLC. By using milanowoodproducts.com and its related products and services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Terms”). You also accept the Terms when you make a purchase or log in to milanowoodproducts.com.

Ordering: By completing and submitting an electronic order form, you are making an offer to purchase goods which will result in a binding contract. Please note that products will not be sent until we have authorization from your payment card issuer. We will not be liable if there is a delay, and we will not accept your order if payment is not authorized.

Payments: We accept Mastercard, Visa, PayPal, Venmo, Chase QuickAccept, cash or check.  It is at the discretion of Milano Wood Products to cancel orders based on errors or potential fraud.

Deposits: Deposits of 25% are required for orders over $500.00 and 50% for orders over $1000.00.  Refunding of deposits are reviewed on a case by case basis by an authorized officer of Milano Wood Products.  Deposits may be forfeited in the event Buyer cancels their order after processing has started.

Custom Work: All custom orders should be made by phone and the cost will depend on the complexity of the request.  Deposits for custom work are non-refundable. Please see Returns and Refunds for further information about custom-work fees.

Pickup Orders: Unless otherwise agreed, materials not picked up within 14 days of order completion shall be subject to liquidation. Any money paid towards the order will be forfeited.

Freight Shipping:  Truck freight costs are not included in pricing provided online at milanowoodproducts.com, only through written and approved quotes.  Freight costs are non-refundable except in the case of total loss. Buyers that cancel their orders in the middle of transit will be responsible for all freight costs.

Modification:  Order modifications prior to shipment will be addressed on a case by case basis and may be subject to additional charges.

Claims by Buyer:
  To qualify for any claims, buyer must comply with the following: all claims of any kind, except nonreceipt, must be submitted in the “Contact Us” section of milanowoodproducts.com within two days after receipt of shipment. Claims for nonreceipt must be made in writing delivered to milanowoodproducts.com within three days after receipt of an invoice. Claims of shipping damage must be noted at time of delivery on the shipping documents and countersigned by a representative of the shipping company, failure to do so may result in total loss of Buyer’s ability to collect damages from the shipper and releases Milano Wood Products from their obligations.

Sales Taxes:
 In addition to the price for the Goods, Buyer should pay Milano Wood Products  the amount of any sales, use, or similar tax relating to the Goods or their sale.

Inspection: Buyer has the right to inspect the order prior to delivery or pick up by given a 3 day notice through the “Contact Us” section of milanowoodproducts.com

Returns:  Should Buyer not be satisfied with the received product, any return shall be at Buyer’s sole risk and expense; return shall be affected only upon actual delivery to Milano Wood Products.  A restocking fee of 20% shall be charged and paid by credit card prior to shipment to receive the full refund of the order minus the restocking fee.

Acceptance of Freight Delivery:
Upon arrival of material orders via freight, please note damage or defect claims on the original bill of lading. All claims of damaged or defective material are to be documented with photographic proof. All claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery via email and telephone contact, along with the photos and the list of material claimed to be damaged or defectiveIf damaged/defective material needs to be returned to Milano Wood Products, it is the Buyer’s sole responsibility for packaging and reloading of the material on the freight forwarder’s truck.

Unauthorized Returns:  Product returns made without the express written consent of Milano Wood Products including refused shipments without the prior consent of Milano Wood Products constitute unauthorized returns. Buyer accepts responsibility for the outbound and return freight charges and a 20% restocking fee. Services performed including milling, pulling to specification, packaging, and crating are non-refundable. All sales of custom items, millwork and lumber are final. No returns will be accepted on unused or leftover product.

Governing Law: The contract for sale of the Goods shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
